I knew Dot through her daughter, Barbara and also as a patient seen often at Wesley Long Hospital. During the time she fought a brave battle with cancer I never heard her complain or ask why her. Everytime I saw her there was a big smile on her face and she wanted to know how I was, not mentioning if she wan't doing well, even though I knew she was suffering. She taught me that you can face the biggest battle of your life with a smile on your face, a good word on your lips and the trust that the Lord's promise of everlasting life will soon come to past.

Tom,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I did not know her, but I do know you. And if the job of raising a man like you is any reflection of her, then she must have been a wonderful person.

My prayers are with all of you during this time. My heart is broken to hear this news. A few people we met in life makes our life a richer one and that is how feel about her.
