Obituary of Jimmy Marshall

Kernersville-Jimmy Wilson Marshall, 72, born January 22, 1941, went to be with his Lord & Savior on March 23, 2013 at Hospice House in Winston-Salem. A native of Forsyth County, Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Cabb Marshall and Pauline Peoples Marshall, his brother, Vernon Ray Marshall, and sister, Mary Ruth Holder. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and old music. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Sapp Marshall of the home; son Brent Marshall of Kernersville; daughters, Melissa Bledsoe of Kernersville and Melanie Key and husband Doug of Kernersville; grandchildren, Nadia' Rashwan, Haley and Holly Key, Jordan Bledsoe, and Brandon Nelson; great-grandson Cortez Borden; and sisters, Carol Nelson and husband Roger, Brenda Beeson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
