Obituary of Sue Gross Reid

Sue Gross Reid, 90, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday January 10, 2018. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 13, 2018 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Rev. Drew Southern officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. Sue was born December 29, 1927 to her mother the late Effie Carolyn Gross and her late step-father James Carvin Morris. In addition to her parents, Sue also was preceded in death by her husband Ellis Thomas Reid, Sr. Survivors include sons Ellis Thomas Reid, Jr. and Robin and Timothy Mark Reid and Pam; grandchildren Christy Matics and Marcus, and Eric Reid and Sonya; four great-grandchildren Sydney, Alexandra, Paige, and Addison; sisters Patsy Weir and Don, and Peggy Ryle and Julian; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends beginning at 1PM Saturday until time for her service.
