Obituary of Harvey Lankford

Biography Kernersville - Harvey Lee Lankford, 67, went home to be with his lord Friday March 11, 2011. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held 2PM Tuesday March 15, 2011 at Welcome Home Baptist Church in Walkertown. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Forsyth county he was the son of the late Mary Vanhoy Lankford and Noah C. Lankford. He was preceded in death by his brothers James Lankford, Bobby Lankford and Donnie Lankford. Harvey was a longtime member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and a volunteer for The Magic of Music. Harvey was a kind and loving man who will be truly missed by all who knew him and mostly by his loving "Dulce". Survivors include his loving wife Diann Lankford of the home; sisters Mary A. Lankford, and Peggy Hoover and her husband Harold of Walkertown; and numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Rita Lawson and her husband Junior of Walkertown; brother-in-law Ray McGuire of Walkertown.
