Send Flowers Rebecca Jane Rayle March 19, 1939 - March 28, 2011 Colfax-Rebecca Jane Rayle, 72, passed away March 28, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Thursday March 31, 2011 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church with Rev. Phil Kirkman officiating. She will be buried beside her parents in the church cemetery. Becky was born March 19, 1939, and lived in Colfax all of her life until declining health made it necessary to move into assisted living. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Alvin and Helen Sloan Rayle of Colfax. She was a lifetime member of Shady Grove Wesleyan Church where she participated in Christian Youth Crusaders, Vacation Bible School, and the choir. She attended, and graduated, from Colfax School. Survivors include her sister Lynne Rayle Daniels of Greensboro; nieces Meredith Daniels, Allison Lewis, and Catherine Daniels; nephew Christopher Daniels; great-niece Arden Lewis; and great-nephews Grayson and Rogan Lewis. The family will visit with friends from 6-7PM Wednesday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville.
