Obituary of Cindy Sperber

Kernersville-Cindy Lou Kline Sperber, 57, finished her journey October 22, 2011 following three years of a valiant fight for her life. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 7:30pm Thursday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Interment will be in the Gospel Light Baptist Church Cemetery in Walkertown. She was the daughter of the late Pauline Diane Kress and George Robert Kline. She also was preceded in death by her granddaughter Tabitha Renee Sperber. A homemaker, she was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed setting up her flea market space with her husband Ralph. She was devoted wife, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend to anyone who ever met her. She was a folk art craftsman and it was a skill passed down from her mother and father. Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years Ralph Sperber, Jr. of Winston-Salem; daughters Steffny Sperber and Darryl of Kernersville, and Melissa Maranville and Randy of Winston-Salem; son Ralph Michael Sperber and Carla of Midway; daughter-in-law Karen Murphy Sperber of Winston-Salem; two grandsons Ralphie and Corey; mother and father-in-law Virginia and Ralph Sperber, Sr. of Reading, Pennsylvania; five sisters Sue, Patricia, Wendy, Cathy, and Melissa all of Pennsylvania; her special Aunt and Uncle Leaney and Gerald Tray; she had numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends that she seemed to acquire so easily. The family will visit with friends on Thursday October 27, 2011, from 6-7:30pm, just prior to the service at 7:30. A very special thank you is given by her family to Bobby Beard, and all the staff of Forsyth Medical Center's ICU department for all the care given Cindy during her struggle. Service Information
