Obituary of Jean Warren

Kernersville-Jean Holcombe Warren, 63, passed away peacefully, as she was surrounded by her family, on April 9, 2012. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 1:00PM Friday April 13, 2012 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary West officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Gur Cemetery. A native of Burnsville, she was the daughter of the late Alma Robinson Holcombe and Harlon Holcombe. She was a graduate of High Point College, which is now High Point University. She had worked for Young’s Florist for a number of years. She also had attended Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years Michael “Mike” Warren of the home; daughter Allison Warren of Kernersville; son Andy Warren and Jenny of Clemmons; grandchildren Xander and Samantha; sister Patti West and Gary of Statesville; special cousins Myra Hensley and Charlie, and Jerry Holcombe; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. The family will visit with friends from 12:00PM until time for the service on Friday at the funeral home.
