Obituary of Thelma Tolbert

Kernersville-Thelma Picado Tolbert, 87, went home to be with her Lord April 9, 2012. Cryptside Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 1:00PM Thursday April 12, 2012 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. A native of Costa Rica, Thelma was the daughter of the late Maximino Picado and Eva Zuniga Picado. She was married to the late Tommy Lee Tolbert who died in 1987. She also was preceded in death by her sister Nehy Olson and brother Carlos Picado. Survivors include her daughters Patricia Tolbert of King, Elizabeth Tolbert and Jane Tolbert and Brian all of Winston-Salem; granddaughters Christel Reno of Lexington and Brooke Harrell of Winston-Salem; sisters Vidalia Gonzalez, Hilda Coto, and Mary Picado; brothers Raphael Picado and Louis Ricky Picado. The family will visit with friends from 6-8PM Wednesday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
