Obituary of John Crouch

Kernersville-John Nelson Crouch,Sr., 77, born on August 7, 1934, died peacefully at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice on June 16, 2012. A native of Forsyth County, John was the son of the late William and Josephine Crouch Quate. He was also preceded in death by his niece Dana. Survivors include his wife, Janet S. Crouch of the home; son John Nelson Crouch Jr. and wife, Penny of Kernersville, son Gary William Crouch and fiancé©, Lisa Hodges of Hamptonville; sisters Shirley Pressley (Grover) of Clemmons, Billie McKnight of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, John Michael Crouch, Olivia Crouch, and Kendall Crouch, in addition, several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of James A. Gray High School and attended Kernersville Wesleyan Church. John volunteered at the Baptist Hospital, loved his family, and showed his passion for life through his love of motorcycles. John will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00PM on Monday June 18, 2012 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home. Services will follow immediately at 2:00PM in the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel.
