Obituary of Emma Jones Rader

Walkertown-Emma Virginia "Ginny" Jones Rader was lifted up by her Savior Saturday October 27, 2012 at the Kate B.Reynolds Hospice Home. Emma was born in Winston Salem to the late James Corbett and Emma Lee Ethridge Jones on September 11, 1919. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Walkertown. Ginny was a lifelong member of Love's United Methodist Church, teaching a Children's Class until later in life when she moved to the Ann Ibraham Class. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene Pates Rader, her sister Dorothy Louise Jones Tuttle, and her nephew Joseph Von Medlin. She is survived by her sister, Annie Mozelle Jones Medlin (Bill); a nephew, Bryan Lee Medlin (Kitty); a niece, Lu Anne Mecum Stroup (Bob); great nephews, David Clark Medlin (Valerie), Zachary Bryan Medlin (Allyson) and Adam Brett Medlin(Anna Collett); and great-great nephew William Clark Medlin. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Love's United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be made to Love's United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund; or charity of the donor's choice.
