Obituary of Raleigh Hicks

Kernersville-Raleigh Stanley Hicks, 59, died February 16, 2013. Graveside Services to celebrate his life will be held 2:00PM Sunday February 24, 2013 at Welcome Home Baptist Church on Highway 158. Pastor Carl Taylor and Rev. Daniel Hawtree will officiate the services. A native of Forsyth County, Stanley was the son of the late Marion Pauline Freeman and W R Hicks. He had worked with Calvin Parrish Painting Contractor for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends outdoors. He most recently had attended Kerwin Baptist Church. Survivors include his sister Paula Hicks and her fiance Billy Parrish of Kernersville, and a host of extended family and friends.
