Obituary of Norman Falbaum

Norman Falbaum died October 26, 2010 at his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Monday November 1, 2010 in the Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery officiated by Rabbi E. Havivi of Beth David Synagogue. Mr. Falbaum was born in Winston-Salem, NC November 21, 1931. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Norman was a life time resident of the Piedmont Triad until 2008 when he moved to Minnesota to live with his son and daughter in law. An avid member of the Greensboro Gem and Mineral Club, he enjoyed teaching children how to polish and cut stones at the Natural Science Center, bicycle rides, clogging music and all cultural programs. He touched the many lives of people from all walks of life and was ready to help anyone; he will be remembered by his positive attitude and his indomitable spirit. Survivors include two sons; David Falbaum and wife Mila of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Daniel Falbaum of North Carolina. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the America Cancer Society 900 S Hawthorne Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to the Minnesota Sheltie Rescue P.O. Box 395, Circle Pines, MN 55014-9998.
