Obituary of Jerry Haithcock

Reidsville Jerry Waine Haithcock, 64, passed away on November 5, 2010 in Rockingham County. Jerry was born in Guilford County to Henry Harrison and Gertrude Day Haithcock. He worked as a Mail Handler for the US Postal Service for 28 years. The funeral service will be at Sheldon Road Baptist Church, in Greensboro on Monday at 11 am on November 8, 2010 Rev. Ricky Chandler officiating. Jerry will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Park immediately after the service. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, Shirley Botts and a brother, Everett Haithcock. Jerry is survived by his wife, Elaine Scott Haithcock, four daughters Thresa and Mike Brown, Crystal and David Andrews, Jennifer and Michael Teal and Wanda and Jeff Hodge; Ten grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma 'Cricket' Smith, Ella Langley, and Mary Bishop; and a brother, Thomas 'Mickey' Ray. The family will receive friends from 6 ' 8 pm Sunday November 7, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home and at other times at the family's home in Reidsville. The family would like to say, a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hawkins and staff at Annie Penn Hospital for their love, care and support.
