Obituary of Elizabeth Dellinger

Elizabeth ' Betty' Dellinger, age 91 passed away Tuesday November 23, 2010 at The Shannon Gray Rehab and Recovery Center. Mrs. Dellinger was born February 9, 1919 in Guilford County to Thomas and Clora Strother Smith. Betty was a legal secretary and a member of the Un ited Daughters of the Confederacy. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband; Wilford Franklin Dellinger, four siblings; Curtis Smith, Cleo Smith, Lucille Smith Kivett and Robert Jack Smith. Survivors include a daughter Janey Dellinger Stinnett, son; Dan Dellinger and wife Lisa, and grandson Andrew Dellinger. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Friday November 26, 2010 at Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dave Mercandate officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home is assisting the Dellinger family.
