Obituary of Rufus Bartley

Mr. Bartley was born July 16, 1949 in Stokes County the oldest of 5 children. He joined the US Army on May 25, 1970 and served a tour in Vietnam. While in the army he received many medals of commendation. He finished his military career in the reserves with 19 years of combined service. He began his civilian employment with Cone Mills and later worked for Draper corporation, Guilford County Schools and the state at A&T State University.
