Obituary of Caroline Pearce

Mrs. Caroline M. Pearce, 87, of Greensboro, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with the Reverend Margie Boyd officiating. Burial will be at Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City. Mrs. Pearce was born June 13, 1923, to Samuel and Isabelle Massey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Henry Whitman Pearce Jr. with whom she resided in Siler City. She was a member of Guilford Park Presbyterian Church, PEO Sisterhood, Pi Beta Phi Sorority, and the D.A.R. Mrs. Pearce is survived by her sons, Eugene W. Pearce and wife Barbara, of Greensboro, William R. Pearce and wife Imelda, of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Robert E. Pearce, Bryan W. Pearce, and Harrison R. Pearce. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
