Obituary of Esther Lucas

Mrs. Esther Ruth Calhoun Lucas, 82, of Greensboro, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Beacon Place. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with the Reverend Tommy Scronce officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Lucas was born in Guilford County, March 16, 1928. Mrs. Lucas was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Lee Lucas. Mrs. Lucas is survived by her daughters , Marie Carter and Lynda Allison; sons, Wayne Lucas. Bill Lucas, Marshall Lucas, Steve Lucas; step son Roger Lucas; step daughter Edith Atanacia; brother, Tommy Calhoun; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
