Obituary of Franklin Webb

Reverend Ralph F. Webb, Jr., born January 5, 1931 left his earthly home on Monday March, 28, 2011. He is now in the presence of the very one he preached so faithfully about for 59 years, his Heavenly Father. He heard the words ' Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant'. Reverend Webb leaves behind three daughters, Marilyn DiMeo, Tonda Causey and Lisa Pegram. Grandchildren Robert Tucker, Jordan Pegram and Mallory Causey. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Merlie and his special son Mark. Reverend Webb loved the Lord and served Him with Gladness, passing out tracks wherever his travels took him, whether the grocery store parking lot or another country as he loved to travel. He touched many lives in his time on earth and was loved by many. The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday April 2, 2011 at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church, 501 Kirkland Street, where he served as pastor for nineteen years with the Rev. Rodney Mitchell and Rev. Jerry Strader officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Friday April 1, 2011 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
