Obituary of Ruth Williams

Greensboro Ruth Lester Williams, 89, passed away at Greensboro Manor on April 6, 2011. Mrs. Williams was born to George Franklin and Lizzy Maude Lemons Lester in Rockingham County. She attended Stokesdale Elementary School. She was of the Baptist Faith. Services for Mrs. Williams will be held 11:00 am Saturday April 9, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with Rev. Dana Stack officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Williams; a Son, Jimmie Lee Mounce; Sisters, Treva Southard, Elaine Southern and Dorothy Neal. She is survived by her daughters Ann (Ronald) Hefner, Shirley White of Buffalo, NY, Doris (George) Rigaud of Trinity; a Sister, Francis Mullins; a Brother Sidney Lester; 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren The family will receive friends Friday from 6 ' 8 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
