Obituary of Allen Freiberg

Mr. Allen C. Freiberg, 66, of Greensboro, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at his home. A graveside service was held 6:30 pm Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at the Hebrew Cemetery in Greensboro, with Rabbi Eliezer Havivi officiating. Mr. Freiberg was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Al Freiberg and recently deceased Minna Lewin Freiberg. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1966 and was a member of Beth David Synagogue. He was a self employed distributor of Promotional Products and an avid Carolina and Yankee fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Freiberg. Survivors include his wife of almost 44 years, Ellen Young Freiberg; sons, Richard and Michelle Freiberg, Dr. Craig and Dara Freiberg and their son Asher; sister, Barbara Freiberg; brother, Joe Freiberg and wife Sandy; nieces and nephews, Dara Beth and Patrick Childers, Jill and Jonah Grifenhagen, Adam Freiberg, Samantha Freiberg, Evan Young, and Traci Young; great nephew, Elijah Young.
