Obituary of Marjorie Morton

Mrs. Marjorie W. Morton, 79, of Greensboro, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Beacon Place. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Morton was born March 4, 1932, in Guilford County to the late Darvin and Liena Gails Wyrick. She was married to the late William F. Morton. Mrs. Morton is survived by her daughters, Shelia (Charles)Shaw, Vanessa Morton, and Amanda (Michael) Shambley; son, Arnold (Dianne) Morton; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Sunday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
