Obituary of Albert Moore

Mr. Albert A. Moore, 89, of Greensboro, formerly of Myrtle Beach, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Wesley Long Hospital. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm Wednesday, prior to the service. Burial will be in Little River, SC at a later time. Mr. Moore was born October 8, 1921, in Bristol, PA to Bartholomew and Mabel Woodington Moore. He was married to the late Josephine Jedrzejczyk Moore and served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He retired from Rohm & Haas after over 35 years of service. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Moore, William Moore, Robert Moore, and Bartholomew Moore Jr. Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter, Cynthia M. Taylor and husband Jonathan, of Greensboro; sister, Doris Moore, of Bristol, PA; grandson, Michael Taylor and wife Nicole, of Climax; great-grandchildren, Savannah Taylor and Easton Taylor and many beloved nieces and nephews.
