Obituary of Ruth Anderson

Mrs. Ruth Nelson Anderson, 96, of Brown Summit, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at her home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 14th, at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Reverend Martin Paschal officiating. Mrs. Anderson was born September 7, 1915 in Guilford County to Arthur and Martha Winters Nelson. She was married to the late Maurice L. Anderson and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 5 brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Ashley, Frances LeVan, both of Brown Summit, Barbara Williams and husband Gary, of Greensboro, Diane Mabe and husband Roger, of Climax; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
