Mr. Jada Andrew Tuttle, 25, of Greensboro, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital. The family will receive friends 12:00 pm Saturday, October 29th at the family home, 304 Village Lane. A gift for languages, a love of the Japanese culture. Anime, video game and music enthusiast. Intimidating exterior, tender heart. Sweet spirit, dazzling smile, strongly opinionated. Jada's credo was honor and integrity always. He treated everyone with respect and kindness. Targeted by bullies in middle school, he proclaimed himself 'Protector of the Weak: at Northwest High. He stalked the halls between classes in his signature outfit of ripped black tee, yard-wide leg jeans and long flowing hair. With open book in hand, ice in his eyes and the timid in his wake both bullies and jocks gave way. When he graduated Jada officially passed his title to a hand picked successor telling him to keep the tradition going. Jada was deeply aware of and affected by national and world events, He believed strongly in justice. He followed NPR closely and could often be found in serious discussions. He joked about having a talent for bringing up controversial topics that started arguments. Shallow thinking made him angry. Selfish shallow thinking made him furious. Jada loved his family and friends with all his generous heart. He was brilliant, handsome and funny. His rants are the stuff of legend. He ended each phone conversation wit ''Peace.' Jada is survived by his mother Laurie, brothers, Matt and Lael, sisters-in-law Inna and Emily, nephew, Jakob, grandmother, Jo Goode, uncle, Harry Goode, aunt and uncle Roberta and Tony Perna.
