Obituary of Warren Jones

Browns Summit Warren Nelson Jones, 68, went home holding the hand of Jesus, on October 25. Warren was born in Carroll County, VA to Lonnie Cole and Essie Hazel Byrd Jones. Mr. Jones was employed with Sands Vending for many years and retired with Greensboro Vending. Mr. Jones was active in his church, Pathway of Faith Baptist Church. The funeral services will be Friday, October 28 at 11 am at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Kelly, Sr. officiating. Interment will at Lakeview Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Debrah; his daughters, Vonda White; Carolan Kivett; His grandchildren, Matthew Lineberry, Ryan Blevins, Mark McKeon, Jr., Alexis Thomas; his brothers and sisters, Iva Vaughn, Lena Mae Clontz, Homer Jones, George Jones, Curtis Jones, Betty Ann Stone, Orpha Taylor, and Alfred Jones. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 ' 9 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
