Obituary of Lannie Paris

Mr. Lannie F. Paris Jr., 83, of Greensboro, went home to be with his Lord, Monday, November 14, 2011, at Beacon Place. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, at Lebanon Baptist Church in McLeansville, with the Reverend Richard Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Paris was born April 12, 1928, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Lannie Sr. and Arie Adams Paris. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and retired from Cone Mills, White Oak Plant after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Marie Ham Paris. Mr. Paris is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Paris Lamb (Ken); sons, Lannie F. Paris III, Kenneth Carl Paris (Pat); sister, Arie Lewis; brother, Leroy Paris (Joan); grandchildren, Kenneth, Chad, and Chris and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Kenneth Paris.
