Obituary of Arley Brady

Mr. Arley A. Brady, 94, of Greensboro, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Wesley Long Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, at Church Street Baptist Church, with the Reverend Art McGahan officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mr. Brady was born December 26, 1916 to John B. and Caroline Allen Brady. He was married for almost 60 years to the late Frances Lynch Brady. He served in the US Army during WWII where he received several Medals. He retired from Cone Mills and worked as a bagger at Big Bear. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Mr. Brady is survived by his daughter, Donna Vee Lee (Charles); a son, Michael L. Brady (Gwen); grandchildren, Kathy E. White (John), Sherry E. Norris, Amy E. Troutman (Eric), M. Scott Brady, Jesse A. Lee (Christine), Lisa B. Stewart (Ren); 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
