Obituary of Martha Cromer

Stokesdale Martha 'Sis' Grubbs Cromer, 75, died December 6, 2011 with her family present. Martha was born in Rockingham County to John Hannibal and Myrtle Finney Grubbs. Martha's Funeral Service will be 2:00pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home on Friday, December 9 with Rev. Bud Cromer officiating with the interment at Lakeview Memorial Park. Martha was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Dickens Edwards, Betsy Dickens (Michael) Johnson, Linda Dickens, Teresa (Danny) Cain; sons, Jimmy (Sherry 'Punkin') Dickens; Michael Dickens, Marvin Lee (Tammy)Dickens, Ronnie Dickens, David (Melissa) Dickens; sisters Eunice (Calvin) Kennon, Ethel Young; grandson, Guy Edwards, Jr.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a special niece Debbie. The family will receive friends from 6 ' 8 pm Thursday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
