Obituary of Magalene Seawell

Greensboro Magdalene Carter Seawell, 80, went to be with her loving Lord on Thursday December 7, 2011 with her family by her side. Magdalene was born in Greensboro, to Charlie Foster and Iola Criscoe Carter on October 19, 1931. The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 10th at 11:00 am in Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home's chapel with Rev. Bruce Vaughn officiating with the interment at Lakeview Memorial Park. Magdalene was preceded in death by her parents and husband J. T. Seawell, sister, Teney Thomas. She is survived by her two sons, Steve (Beverly) Seawell, Jeff (Teresa) Seawell; a sister Jolene (Herman) Johnson, grandchildren, Stephanie (Joey) Williams, Stacee Seawell, Josh (Lisa) Seawell, Kristin (Spence) Southard, Lindsey Seawell; great-grandchildren, Jackson Williams, Miller Southard, and Emersyn Seawell. Magdalene was a graduate of Greensboro High and Greensboro Women's College. She is a member of Eller Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday 6 ' 8 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to Beacon Place, 2502 Summit Ave. Greensboro, 27405. Magdalene was the heart string of the family and she will be missed by everyone that knew her.
