Obituary of John Reittinger

Mr. John B. Reittinger, 68, of Liberty, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Clapp's Nursing Home in Pleasant Garden. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Thursday, December 22nd, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Mr. Reittinger was born December 15, 1943, in Dyersville, Iowa, to Lester and Wilma Kern Reittinger. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Ruth Ann Reittinger. Mr. Reittinger is survived by his daughter, Lisa L. Reittinger, of High Point; son, Christopher John Reittinger and fiancée Brooke Cochran, of Greensboro; mother, Wilma K. Reittinger; former wife and mother of his children, Sharon Reittinger; brothers, Jim Reittinger, Dennis Reittinger, Terry Reittinger, and Dickie Reittinger; sisters, Donna Carmen and Darlene Meek. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home is assisting the Reittinger family.
