Obituary of Allie McGinnite

Mrs. Allie Mae McGinnite, 93, of Greensboro, died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at her residence. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, January 18th , at Lakeview Memorial Park, with Dr. Jeffrey J. Smith officiating. Mrs. McGinnite was born April 20, 1918, in Randolph County to Bert and Beulah Williamson. She was a member of Cross Point Baptist Church. Mrs. McGinnite is survived by her daughters, Eva M. Reese of Greensboro and Ruby McCormick (Roy), of Lynchburg, VA; brother, JC Williamson (Mary Etta) of Greensboro; 5 grandchildren, Marilyn F. Pressley, Allie L. Knight, Len Allen, Stephanie Wright, and Sandy Harris, 18 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
