Obituary of John Bolton

Mr. John E. Bolton Jr., 84, of Greensboro, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Alamance Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Chris Phelps officiating. Mr. Bolton was born in Guilford County, May 11, 1928, to John E. and Charlotte Dove Bolton. He served in the US Navy in the Pacific during WWII and a member of Alamance Presbyterian Church. He was the owner and operator of Bolton Electric Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann Bolton and brothers, Douglas Bolton and Kenneth Bolton. Mr. Bolton is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Holt Bolton; sons, Timothy 'Duane' Bolton (LouJean), John Edward 'Eddie' Bolton III (Sharon), 'Craig' Alan Bolton (Terri), Michael Douglas 'Mike' Bolton (Alice), and Bradley Keith 'Brad' Bolton (Lisa); sister, Helen Walker; brothers, Leslie Bolton, and Donald Stevenson (Judy); 10 grandchildren, Joshua Bolton (Jen), Trevor Bolton, Angella Bolton, Anthony Bolton, Jordan Bolton, Jacob Bolton, Trotter Bolton, Tanner Bolton, Jaycie Bolton, and Lily Ann Bolton; 1 great-grandchild, Chasidy Bolton.
