Obituary of Betty Gibson Cunningham Hall

Our dear mother went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 6th at Lakeview Memorial Park, with her grandson, Pastor Chad Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Mrs. Hall was the thirteenth child of William and Sarah Franklin Gibson, born in Lincoln County on March 29,1928. Making Greensboro her home for forty years, she retired from Mike's Friendly Amoco in 1990. The following twenty-years were spent at her home in Baden Lake. Mother spent many happy hours developing her beautiful flower garden which brought her great joy. A faithful member of Eldorado Baptist Church before declining health brought her back to Greensboro area residing at Ashton Place Health & Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby R. Hall, her parents, six brothers, six sisters and a precious great-grandson, Alex Ingle. Left to cherish her memory a daughter Diane Ingle and husband Mike, of Whitsett; son, Richard Cunningham and wife Peggy, of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, David Ingle, Lisa Clapp, Brad Ingle, Chad Ingle, Michelle Murray, and Ryan Cunningham; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of dearly loved nieces and nephews. Mother, we are sad for us but oh so happy for you! "Absent from the body, present with the Lord"! Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405. A special thank-you to all the dear people at Ashton Place who took such loving care of mother, and special thanks to Hospice of Greensboro who sent wonderful and caring ladies to help make mother more comfortable during her final journey.
