Obituary of Ann Lucas Oakley

Mrs. Ann Lucas Oakley Another angel received her wings when Ann Lucas Oakley passed away on July 3, 2013 at the age of 68. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, at Lakeview Memorial Park, with the Reverend Greg Freeman. Ann is preceded in death by her father, Bernard Lucas and mother, Norma Lucas. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ray Oakley. Annie (as she was affectionately called by her children and grandchildren) is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lea Ann and husband Allen, daughter, Anissa and husband Eddie. She will also be remembered by her two grandchildren Taylor and Brody who she loved more than anything in the world, and her little yorkie companion Max. Ann was born in Greensboro, NC on September 16th . Among the things that she enjoyed the most were, spending time with family, watching Taylor and Brody play sports, spending summers at the beach and cheering on her Atlanta Braves. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
