Obituary of Roger Dean Amos

Roger Dean Amos, 62 of McLeansville, NC passed away Tuesday October 25, 2016. There will be a funeral service held Saturday October 29th, 11am at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. "Dean" was born July 25, 1954 to the late Charles and Vivian Southern Amos in Guilford County, NC. He loved hunting, fishing, his guns and shooting. He loved to reload his own ammunition, and was a member of the shooting range in Rockingham county. "Dean" loved his canine companions dearly, Bo & Candy. Surviving are his daughter Crystal Griffin of Greensboro, son Roger D. Amos, Jr. of McLeansville, NC, Fiance Debbie Crabtree of Greensboro, brother Walter Amos and wife Geraldine of Siler City, NC, three grandchildren and two nephews. He was preceded in death along with his parents by his step-father Alfred Nathan Summers. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 until 8pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
