Obituary of Carlyle Avery

Reverend Rufus "Carl" Avery, 92, of Greensboro, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010. He was a Minister for many years and former pastor of West High Point Church of God. Surviving are one son, Ronnie Avery and wife Gloria; a grandson, Darrell Avery; a granddaughter, Valerie Hall and husband Dennis and their children, Ananda, Chelsea, and Jesse. He was loved and will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, in the chapel of Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Myrtis. The family will receive friend from 6 to 8 pm Friday, at the Funeral Home.
