Obituary of John Morgan

Mr. John K. 'Buddy' Morgan Jr., 80, of Greensboro, died Thursday, at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Reverend Bart Friddle officiating. Mr. Morgan was born October 9, 1929, in Guilford County, to the late John K. and Mabel Bennett Morgan. He was married to Helen Fields Morgan and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lambeth. Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen F. Morgan; sons, Dennis Morgan, Darrell Morgan, Roger Morgan and wife Angela, all of Greensboro, David Morgan and wife Kathy, of Pleasant Garden; sisters, Joann Caldwell, of High Point, Kay Wilson and husband Fletcher, of Rocky Mount; 11 grandchildren.
