Obituary of Betty Oldenburg

Mrs. Betty Oldenburg, 86, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Oldenburg was born in Niagara County, NY. She was a graduate of Moore Business Institute of Buffalo, NY and served in various secretarial and banking positions. She was very active in her local Methodist Church. Her first husband, Jack Fazenbaker, died on the battlefield, November of 1944, during WW II. Her second husband, Franklin Oldenburg, passed away December, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Betsy Oldenburg and son Dan Oldenburg, both of Greensboro. Mrs. Oldenburg moved to Greensboro in 1979 and worked at Rolane Factory Outlet. She enjoyed sewing, playing piano and organ. The family is very grateful to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro for all their wonderful assistance over the past two months and encourages that donations in memoriam go to them.
