Obituary of Jerry Oldham

Mr. Jerry Wayne Oldham, 65, of Greensboro, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Pastor Robert Yandle and Reverend Carol Williams Gilbert officiating. Mr. Oldham was born in Guilford County, June 3, 1944. He worked as a painter for Gate City Lincoln Mercury prior to his wife's illness and returned there after her death. He went to hold the hand of his beloved wife of over 43 years, the late Betty Ann Stone Oldham. He loved Nascar, nature, and riding his tractor and will be dearly missed. Mr. Oldham is survived by his daughter, Myranda LaFone and husband Eric, of Greensboro; sons, Ty Wayne Oldham, Telly Wayne Oldham and wife Michelle, all of Greensboro; grandchildren, Cheyenne Oldham, Bradley Oldham and Sienna LaFone; sister, Deborah Anderson and husband Rick, of Larimore, ND, Gail Hamlet and husband David, of McLeansville; brothers, Darrell Oldham and wife Patricia, of High Point, James Oldham, and wife Monique, of Aiea Houha, Hawaii, and many very special friends.
