Obituary of Tony Smith

Mr. Tony Ray Smith age 49, of Browns Summit passed away at Moses Cone Hospital May 14, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday May 17, 2010 at Friendly Chapel Church, 1523 Friendly Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC 27406 with Reverend Roger Motsinger officiating Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Tony was born March 21, 1961 in Melbourne Florida to the late Thomas and Thelma Akers Smith. Tony owned and operated Tony Smith Builders and loved NASCAR, hunting and fishing. He was a devoted family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife of 30 years Cindy Smith , a daughter Dana Smith, a sister Tina Lee Smith Murray and husband Michael, four brothers Tommy Smith and wife Reba, Timmy Smith, Terry Smith and wife Bonnie, Tracy Smith. Three grandchildren; Kylie , Ashlyn, Kendal; and eleven nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
