Obituary of Kathleen Cole

Mrs. Kathleen Brady Cole, 95, of Greensboro, died Monday, July 5, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 pm Friday, July 9th at Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Carol Williams-Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Cole was born on the 7th day of the 7th month at the 7th hour, 1914, in Keysville, Virginia, to Rufus and Mattie Taylor Brady. She was the wife of the late William 'Dub' Cole and the oldest member of Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church. She retired from Cone Mills White Oak Plant as an inspector, after over 22 years of service. She loved to crochet and shared her gifts with family, friends, and her church family. Mrs. Cole is survived by her sons, William 'Bill' Cole and wife Marsha M. of Summerfield, and Johnny Cole and wife Marsha P. of Brown Summit; grandchildren, Kristie Labhart and husband Michael, Chris Cole, and wife Laura, Chad Cole and wife Elizabeth, and 6 great-grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
