Debra "Debbie" Earp

Obituary of Debra "Debbie" Juanita Earp

Mrs. Debra "Debbie" Juanita Earp, 69, of Kernersville passed away on February 23, 2024 at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center in Kernersville. Born in Lenoir, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Estelena (Storie) Campbell and wife of Charles Earp.

Her hobbies included cooking delicious meals for family and finding a great bargain when shopping. The absolute highlight of her life was her family -- especially her grandchildren, Cameron and Benji. She relished every opportunity to spend time with them and other family members. She was the only full-time bus driver throughout the state of North Carolina, spending over ten hours on the road for her schoolchildren. She was raised as a Baptist and was an active member in her church. Prior to marriage, she joined the Advent Christian Church and then transitioned to the Methodist Church later on, which is the same church where her grandchildren were baptized. Debbie was the kind of person that would go out of her way to help someone. She never knew a stranger and was loved by all who knew her.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Charles Earp; her child, Kara Earp and wife, Bekki; her grandchildren, Cameron and Benji; her nephews, Jon Hendrix, Robbie Earp, James Earp, and Christopher Branch and their spouses and children; her sister-in-laws, Anita Branch (Thomas) and Donna Greene (Lowell); and her brother-in-law, Robert Earp (Cindy).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Victoria Campbell, Mary Lee Campbell, and Robin Hendrix; her brother-in-law, Chuck Hendrix; and nephew, Matt Hendrix; and a host of dogs.

Per the family's request, there will be no services held at this time. A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association.
