Obituary of Thomasteen Yevette Bradshaw

Ms. Thomasteen “Tina” Bradshaw, 64, of Kernersville, gained her wings on July 15, 2023 at her home. Born June 25, 1959, she was a native of Bluefield, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Thomas "Jive" and Regis Clements, and wife of the late James Bradshaw of Bluefield, West Virginia.

Tina was a graduate of Bluefield State College and became a dental hygienist as well as a surgical technician. Staying in the healthcare field, she went on to become an LPN and spent many years as a traveling nurse. Those who truly knew her, know that she loved to travel, not only with her children and grandchildren, but any child that wanted to go was always welcome. She enjoyed DIY projects, any type of art and crafts, and making sure everyone was color-coordinated at any family function. Tina had a very good sense of humor and enjoyed laughing and celebrating life.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tina was preceded in death by her two sisters, Andra Amaker and Daynora"Lynn" Clements-Caul; her daughter, Nikki Simmons, and grandmother, Ruby Baker.

Tina is survived by her son, Reginal (Diana) Simmons of Charleson, WV; her daughter, Tyjuan Rhodes of Kernersville, NC; her step-son, Ahmad Bradshaw of Bluefield, VA; her step-daughter, Karma Bradshaw of Maryland; her sister, Natasha Martin of Winston-Salem, NC; her brothers, Sam Whitt of Arkansas, Vincent Clements of Bluefield, WV, and Devin Clements of Bluefield, WV; her grandchildren: Nikala, Latasia, Tynayja, Andre, Dakari, Imerrion and Arionna; her special cousin whom she considered a brother, Gary (Deborah) Ridley of Bluefield, WV; her great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W. Mountain Street, Kernersville NC 27284 on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 11:00AM - 12:00PM. Funeral services will follow beginning at noon, 12:00PM..
