Dear family,
My heart aches from the grief that you are suffering.
Knowing of God's embracing love for you, continue looking to him when " He will wipe out all tears from our eyes, death, pain, and suffering will be no more. " - Revelation 21: 3,4
He says death is an " enemy that will be brought to nothing. " 1 - Corinthians 15:26
It comforts our hearts to know this pain will be a thing of the past and through Christ the resurrection of our loved ones.
We " do not sorrow just as the rest do who have no hope! " 1 Thessalonians 4:13
love from a stranger,

I will miss going to watch a race with Uncle Paul, turn around and see him standing above where we sit at Bowman Gray some Sat. Nites, or being at the drag strip and him being there. I was looking forward to him being able to see me bring my old Englebert & Weavil Nova back out that I recently bought back. Until we see each other again rest easy in the presence of The Lord and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY Uncle Paul. "Semper Fi"!

I will never forget the First time I met Paul I was at my uncles gas station Paul drove in in a Mercury the same color as the Wood Brothers Mercury Race car (Red & White). I was in on leave from the Air Force we started talking about racing and being in the Service. We became Friends and the rest is history. Paul was a Great Guy and I have always felt very Privileged to have known him. Pauls Family and Loved ones are in my Prayers.

Paul was a special person who will be missed. He was a soft, quiet soul who never raised his voice that I knew, except when talking about racing, of which he was so passionate. Duty, Honor, Country was taught into him by the Marines and was him.
