Obituary of John Oxendine

Mr. John Oxendine passed away on March 18, 2023. Born in Robeson County, he was a son of the late, Charles Oxendine and Priscilla Breyboy Oxendine.  He was a devoted Christian man that was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for over 40 years.  He was a loving family man and patriarch of the family. John was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Rebecca Oxendine; children, Kathy Ferguson, James Wilson, and Glenn Oxendine; grandchildren, Brandy, Brittany, and Kirsten; great grandchildren, Trevor, McKennzie, Cameron, and Kylie, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for John Oxendine, of Greensboro, will be held at 1pm, March 22,2023 at Bethel Baptist Church, 2230 Lees Chapel Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405.  Pastor Steve Gunter will officiate.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.  The family will greet friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM March 21, 2023, at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Service - Lambeth Chapel, 300 West Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27408.
