Obituary of Rufus Calvin "Jack" Pendergrass

Mr. Rufus Calvin “Jack” Pendergrass, 80, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Monday, February 6, 2023.

A native of Franklin County, NC, Jack was the husband of 62 years to Catherine Jones Pendergrass and the son of Willis Pendergrass and Bessie Grissom Pendergrass, both deceased. Jack was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine; daughters, Carol McKinney, and Susan Branson; five grandchildren; and great granddaughter, Skylar.

A graveside service celebrating his life will be held 1:00PM Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC.
