Obituary of Lestie Chambers May

Lestie left this earth with her children and grandchildren surrounding her with love.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thalmadge Jarvis, and Melvin May. She was preceded in death by her father C. E. Chambers and mother Virginia Hendren Chambers, four brothers, Calvin, Wayne, Glen and Carl Chambers.

She has one son, Dale Jarvis and wife Debra, in Blythwood, South Carolina; one daughter, Katherine Fenley in Greensboro, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Robin McMurry and husband Jason, Timothy Boyd and wife Katie, Kimberly Reynolds and husband Jason Christopher Jarvis-Irmo, South Carolina; 2 great-grandchildren, Chase and Ava Reynolds; three sisters, Yvonne Caudill, Donna Johnson, and Mary Parker; and three brothers, Flake, Albert and Orville Johnson.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel in Greensboro. The family will greet friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ Cemetery in Whitsett.
