Obituary of Carolyn Hicks Sherrill

Carolyn Hicks Sherrill, 75, of Walkertown, NC passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

A native of Waynesville, NC Carolyn was the daughter of William Lee Hicks and Annie Dee Kingsmore Hicks, both deceased.  Survivors include her sisters, Dee McConnell of Winston-Salem, NC and Susan Lynn Hicks and husband, Donald of High Point, NC; brother, Chris Hicks and wife, Sarah of Kernersville, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Ann Smith; brother, William Lee Hicks, Jr.; and sisters, Cynthia Ellen Hicks, Elizabeth Adele Hicks Lindsey, and Sharon Ann Hicks.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 3:00PM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Randy Edwards. The family will greet friends from 2:30PM to 3:00PM Saturday and again following the service at the funeral home
