We were so sad to hear about Judy. She was such a wonderful neighbor but more than that, a friend. She always made you feel at home and was so interested in how you were doing. She and Ed bonded with our son, David and he looked forward to being able to cross the street to visit both of them, especially at Halloween. He looked forward to seeing what Judy would wear each year. He loved you both so much. We will miss her but will be lifting up this wonderful family as you go through this difficult time.

From the first time we met at Sedge Garden Elementary I could tell we'd be friends. Twenty-five years later, after we both retired, our friendship was still strong. Judy was the most kind, compassionate, and dedicated friend I could ever have. I will miss her so much. GOD Bless!

What a wonderful & happy lady & Educator !! Miss Judy was my son Justin Heath’s tutor for many years !! She & Ed became to be like ‘ Family to us ‘I’ll always remember the time that ED & Judy adopted a sweet lil black. doggie — a stray I believe , that my Justin. wanted to have soo much ( but his Dad said no ) They took in that precious lil dog & since Justin was tutored twice a week — we all enjoyed Taffy & he ‘d play w/ her after his lessons !!Judy & Ed were Always welcoming to others & wonderful friends !!Love & prayers to ED , Kevin & Tracy and our Deepest Sympathy . Judy was a neighbor. We often would see her and Ed taking one of their daily walks in the neighborhood. She always had a smile on her face and a friendly greeting. Always a smile...that was Judy. My first memory of Judy was playing tennis with her at the YMCA here in Kernersville. No matter what...she always wore and greeted you with a smile. Ed, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a beautiful lady in so many ways.
