Obituary of William Sidney Mitchell

William Sidney Mitchell, age 55, of Gibsonville, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Friday, June 10, 2022. Mr. Mitchell was born September 29, 1966 in Greensboro, North Carolina. William was a skilled carpenter who was very creative and could fix anything. He loved bowling and spending time with his family and friends, especially his dog, Little Man.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy W. Mitchell Jr., and his sister, Melissa D. Mitchell.

He is survived by his son, Clifton Baker; parents, Roy and Shirley Mitchell; sisters, Korina Johnson (Kyle) and Tina Mitchell; brother, Lee Mitchell (Lori); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2PM at the Shining Light Baptist Church Cemetery.
